Kinda need some help with the GL

I currently have 425 keys, but I am conflicted about which primary or general weapon I should purchase.

I have narrowed it down to three main paths

Save up for Distortion or Warper orr Buy the Grenade Launcher or just go and b the Energy Pistols.

If I choose the Grenade Launcher, how do I actually learn to use it? It feels like it wouldn't have much utility unless paired with a knife, or used mainly for getting the Glass Wrap.

As for the Energy Pistols, I already own the Exogun, which makes them feel like a last resort.

Please help me out gng
