I think I know someone in Bangalore you should meet.

No, this isn’t a dating post.

I’ve been going through applications for something I’m experimenting with, and one thing keeps hitting me:

Bangalore is full of insanely interesting people who will probably never meet each other.

Someone building something weird in Koramangala.

Someone training for a marathon in Indiranagar.

Someone doing research, making music, writing, designing, starting companies, changing careers.

They could live 3 km apart.

And still never cross paths.

Different company.

Different college.

Different friends.

Different weekends.

So I started BLR Weekends. [Invite Only]

You tell us a little about yourself.

We go through the applications and pick one person we think you should meet.

We choose the venue.

Both of you get an email with the details.

Then you just show up.

No swiping.

No 50-person meetup.

No networking agenda.

No giant community group.

Just one conversation with someone you probably wouldn’t have met otherwise.

That’s the whole experiment.

The bar isn’t:

“Did this person become my best friend?”

It’s simply:

“I’m glad I met them.”

We’re manually curating the first matches right now.

If you’re curious who we’d pick for you:

Would you let a stranger choose one person in Bangalore you should meet?
