WWYD - Gen 2 R1T Tri/Quad vs Rivian R2?

Continue to be on the fence about next steps. Current line up is 2025 Dune R1S (keeping) and 2023 Quad R1T. Limestone. White interior. Off road package with dark ATs. Love the truck but it’s got stale tech and I’m worried about problems as I approach 40k miles. Also feels a bit too redundant at times next to the S.

My R2 reservation is ready. Coastal with Catalina Cove. I feel like it’s a good departure from the S even tho they look alike. Much smaller, more nimble, more usable in the city. Plus new tech and LE package.

Other option would be to wait for G2 Tris, and maybe Quads, to come off lease for the R2. Newer tech and better build quality.

I don’t do a ton of truck stuff anymore but it is handy to have. But interior space is small. And the truck is long. R2 seems like the perfect everyday vehicle for multiple use cases.
