Old Horror Film About a Ghost from 1940s or 1950s

Hi, does this ring a bell to anyone?

A horror film about two fathers and two daughters at an isolated cabin. One of the daughters becomes possesed by a ghost of sorts and returns to the cabin. I think her father is a doctor, they try to help her and she has hallucinations. I think the ending was some sort of a confrontation outside with the ghost after they forced it out of her body.
