I’ll start with my picks

Overrated \~ Silver Surfer: Way too many people treat him like he’s one of the strongest characters ever because of his hax but he jobs way too much especially to characters he shouldn’t job against. I’ve seen people claim that he could solo the Justice League but scaling wise he’s weaker than Thor, Hulk, Scarlet Witch, Jean Grey, Storm, Sentry, and Doctor Strange. Power scalers hype him up way more than Marvel writers do which I think is a big problem. He’s not a team buster like people think he is, and he loses to Base Thanos.

Underrated \~ Iron Man: I think Tony is pretty underrated and interesting when it comes to power scaling because his power is very situational and it highly depends on what armored suit he wears. He can range anywhere from street level to Multiversal depending on how powerful his suit is. He’s also portrayed to be in strength class 100 which means he’s in the same strength class as Hulk, Thor, Wonder Man, and Hercules even if he’s physically weaker than all of these guys. His Mysterium armor is also powerful enough to counter Doctor Strange’s magic which I think is very impressive. He’s easily one of the smartest Marvel characters not named Doom or Reed.

Who’s a Marvel character you think is overrated and one you think is underrated when it comes to power scaling?
