Two express entry draws in 2 days. Is IRCC changing the pace?

I keep seeing people compare CRS scores like we're all competing in the same pool. But look at these two draws.

CEC: 2,000 ITAs — 521 CRS
PNP: 562 ITAs — 697 CRS

That's a 176-point difference. Imagine being at 520 and seeing a CEC draw happen. Then imagine having 520 with a profile that doesn't fit that draw.

Same score. Completely different situation. That's the part about Express Entry nobody really talks about. Sometimes it's not that your CRS is "too low." You might just be in the wrong part of the pool.
