Are the xm5 worth it for 50 bucks

They’re 50% off right now everywhere and i have a $150 amazon gift card so basically 50 bucks. A lot of the reviews are just about the hinges breaking and not worth the money. I only have airpods and ive been wanting a pair of over the ear headphones so is it worth for this pair or save my money for something else or another sale?
