Hip and knee pain advice?

Hello, I(23f) was diagnosed earlier this year. I thought at first I had to have pulled something last year that was causing severe pain in my hips and knees. Turns out I didn’t and I ended up being diagnosed with fibro. They tried to put me on cymbalta but it made me too sick to take it. They have yet to try anything else and I am in extreme pain almost every day. It’s gotten to the point of where it’s difficult to walk and sleep. I go to the gym 3 days a week already. I try not to take OTC pain medication as much as possible due to long term effects. Has anyone been prescribed any medication other than cymbalta and it worked? Or is there anything else we can do for the extreme pain?
