TW - elder dog health, diabetes, blindness. A miracle literally happened I want to share it

I PROMISE ITS A HAPPY ENDING

My dog (11, Samoyed) has diabetes. When we first heard the news we knew that there was a possibility of vision loss along with her progressive arthritis. It felt like a death sentence honestly because she thrives off her little habits especially sniff walks and socializing with other dogs.

So ofc I took her to the vet! They prescribed us a medication for her that helps with pain and inflammation. The last few days were hard, watching her be lethargic from the meds felt like way too much too soon and I started to wonder is this just her life now? So ofc course certain thoughts start to appear in your mind that are not the most welcome.

BUT HERES THE MIRACLE
Last night poppy went to bed with severe diabetic cataracts, that greyish blue that shows the lens is to opaque now. BUT GUESS WHAT. She woke up this morning with CLEAR EYES (photo from when she was a puppy and today to compare in the responses).
