Buying a V6 9th Gen Accord

Hey guys. Recently, I've been trying to a used car after my Elantra's engine crashed on me. The V6 accord was an immediate attraction because of the way it looks, the power, and its modern tech. My budget's around 6-9k, which I am aware is not a lot, but I am a student who is hustling for a car I can project with. Just to note—I am in Maryland where used cars that are sold and need to pass a Maryland Safety inspection (super strict and nitpicky). I am just looking for some help/direction on where to look. Facebook and offerup is filled with overconfident people who list their 200k salvage titles for 10k. Thanks guys!
