Does this count as a de-load week or am I kidding myself?

Questions

I've (34f) been outdoor climbing or hiking/scrambling about two times a week since May, and throughout August I've been sore above the knees even after resting for more than 2 days. So, oops, I guess I over-did it. This is the first time I've had a season this active and I've never had interest in any kind of sport since I was a kid, so I'm still learning how to pace myself between activity and recovery so please be kind haha

I declared this week a de-load week, but decided to go climb in the gym... twice. Once top roping only, tonight will be bouldering but I plan not to push my limits.

So, if the days that I'm de-loading from normally have 5-10 hours of movement and are very leg-focused (approach usually to alpine + multipitch + descent, or very steep hike + scrambling), but gym sessions are only 2-3 hours long and more arm-focused than leg-focused.... that counts as de-loading right? Or am I just being hopeful?
