It's weird to me that most watch enthusiasts care about in-house movements while also not really knowing how movements work.

Do you know what a cannon pinion does? Can you identify the fourth wheel? Have you looked at even one movement up close through a loupe? Kind of amazed how many hot takes there are around movements among folks who have never taken 20 minutes to sit down and understand how they fundamentally work.
