How do you even compare senior medical alert systems without going completely crazy?

The comparison process is genuinely overwhelming, there are dozens of companies, the feature lists all sound the same, every site claims to be "rated number one," and the review sites are mostly affiliate driven which makes them unreliable It would be nice if there was a standardized way to compare these things, like how cars have safety ratings from independent agencies. Medical alert systems all claim fast response times, reliable coverage, and great customer service but there is no independent body verifying any of it The features that actually differentiate one system from another seem to be contract terms, actual published response times, whether monitoring is US based, waterproof ratings, and mobile vs home only coverage Honestly the comparison process feels broken by design and families deserve better than having to become amateur investigators just to keep their parents safe
