How to verify and not get scammed.

Other than some of you thought I was a fed (don’t even live in the US) I’m just trying to get a watch. I got contacted by a distributor and need guidance on how to verify and not get scammed. Any pointers? And no. I’m not police or anything I am just trying to get one freaking piece and that’s it.
