I won in dollars but lost the ETH game

Had 14.2 ETH and thought I’d be smart instead of just sitting on it. Started trading little moves, selling pumps, buying dips, all that. It looked fine while I was doing it, like okay maybe I’m not completely useless at this. Then I checked properly yesterday and I’m at 12.8 ETH now. USD balance is up, which should feel good, but it doesn’t really. Because compared to just holding, I basically paid 1.4 ETH to feel like a trader. Crypto is so dumb sometimes lol.
