Two questions

I live in a rural area and I have been trying to get a diagnosis. My niece was recently diagnosed back home in Minnesota but I don’t live out there anymore I’m in North Carolina. I’m having trouble finding anyone that takes Insurance most of them are out-of-pocket only. Is it worth it? Or should I try to go somewhere in the city which would be 2-3 hour commute?
My next question is has anyone found any solutions for peeling nails? I bit my nails for a really long time and I have finally broke the habit and I can actually grow my nails but they’re so brittle and they break really easily because they peel. I have read this is one of the side effects and I’m wondering if anyone has had success with anything. I wear nail strengthener constantly but it still happens.
