Hi I'm about to get braces put on and I think I've got some cavities.

On my back teeth it looks like I've got cavities. The Appointment for braces is very soon. In about 4 hours.

What do you think will happen?

The cavities were not mentioned in any of the tooth scans (with that photographing stick they insert in my mouth) and I think my dentist disregarded them last appointment. Maybe I'm just an idiot that can't recognise cavities.

Anyway if I DO have them will the braces just get put on the surrounding teeth and not the bad ones or what? I don't think the braces would actually get in the way of them to be honest.

I hope someone sees this. Thankyou and goodbye I'm aware this was irresponsible on my part but my dentist was shut for ages and I couldn't get anywhere else.

I know this doesn't replace IRL help but it could be worth asking.
