5b Evening sun

Haven’t planted these babies yet but I got 3 Endless Summer hydrangeas on clearance yesterday. I would like them in the front of my house (west facing). That area gets dappled sun almost all day because of a tree we have just out front of our house. Yesterday I watched the sun pattern with the pots in the space I want them. They got full sun from 4-7pm. Is this a huge mistake to put them here? I know they like morning sun, but does it truly matter the time of day they get it? I am in zone 5b. Thanks for any advice!
