Suggestions for the best way to winterize RTK antenna on roof peak
I'm looking for any who have successfully survived a tough winter. I'm in upstate NY and I've read thru all the info i could find here and elsewhere, seems the easiest method is heavy UV resistant plastic wrapped and clamped and taped but with a couple small holes at the bottom to let condensation drain. My cable is well secured and the roof peak is very high so I don't want to remove the antenna. Frankly Segway should have though fo this and put a connector right at the antenna itself. Anyway this plastic method is what Support suggested to me but I'm wondering if there's a better way for my first winter with the x430. Thanks!
