Insomnia rant - looking for hope. Does CBT-I work for menopausal insomnia?
Just when i think it’s improving, Im back to square one. As one last Hail Mary, I’m thinking i may try CBT-I before i commit to a prescription sleep aid or antidepressant, something i am very hesitant to do. Has anyone successfully treated their insomnia with CBT-I? For reference, i have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep, waking every 1 1/2 to 2 hours. If i get five hours of sleep, i feel like it’s a good night and that is just pathetic. (Yes I’ve tried all the usual things already, melatonin, magnesium etc)
