Realising just how much I struggle more than the average person

Vent/Rant

Last weekend I went to my first ever festival, I (ftm20) went with my friend (f20) and her cousin (also f20) went to a festival together. ive been dealing with my POTS from about age 12 and was diagnosed last year finally. Im also suspect that i likely have hEDS (im hypermobile and suffer alot of other symptoms linked to hEDS)

ive known and been dealing with the fact im disabled for years, but i dont really realise how much I am actually affected by it until something like this,

the festival we went to something set off the sniffer dogs on our way through security (i didnt have anything on me) and ended up having to stand for 2 hours in the full bag search line after having been stood for 1.5 hrs already! this was the start of it all,

now obviously i knew festivals mean alot of standing but on the first day (i ended up leaving after this due to bug related lack of sleep) each concert we watched left me in agony and no one else seemed to understand why i was so overwhelmed and stressed out.

it really hit me how much of a disadvantage i am at because of this stuff i miss when i could do stuff like this more easily, it just all hit quite hard and ive been thinking about it alot and wondered if anyone related
