To those who have read, Traitor Son Cycle: The Red Knight

I enjoy listening to audio books while at work, I recently finished The Witch Hunter from the Battle Brothers series and loved it so much I wanted to step back into a dark fantasy medieval setting and got recommended the Traitor Son Cycle series.

I was very interested at first but there’s been an issue for me that I find quite jarring, and that’s the constant POV jumps from character to character. At times it feels like I’m getting just tastes of information and story before being moved onto something else. To me, it’s been more like a sampler than a meal.

My question is, does this continue throughout the entire series, and am I the only one who still felt a little lost by chapter four? I’m not sure if I just wasn’t picking up the information that was presented to me and should restart or if I’m not alone in feeling like there’s been a lot thrown our way in a short amount of time.

On the plus side I’ve loved the setting so far, the knights the descriptions of armor, weapons, the ideas of chivalry and court life. So I’m hoping this is worth continuing
