[WWTBC] FMC hurts herself when they're kids, MMC takes her home on his bicycle

My memory of this is very fuzzy, there's also a small chance it could be M/M romance, but for the purposes of this post, I will refer to the main character as 'FMC'.

Their families are close. I think FMC has a crush on MMC when they're kids but he's indifferent. They're out somewhere and FMC badly cuts herself on glass (there's a chance she was following him, but I'm not sure). MMC picks her up, puts her on his bike and takes her home. I think at one point his dad, or maybe the FMC's dad, praises him for acting quickly.

It's possible this might be a paranormal romance. Maybe they're shifters? It's just a feeling I have, I could be wrong.
