Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my interest in the Junior .NET Backend Developer position. With hands-on experience building production-quality REST APIs using [ASP.NET](http://ASP.NET) Core, C#, Entity Framework Core, and Clean Architecture, I am eager to bring a solid technical foundation, a modern AI-augmented development workflow, and a strong commitment to clean, maintainable code to your engineering team.

Over the past year I independently designed and delivered five backend projects covering the full .NET ecosystem, using tools like Cursor to accelerate scaffolding, speed up iteration, and explore implementation approaches — while retaining full ownership of architecture, testing, and code quality decisions. My most recent work — a Restaurant Management REST API built with Clean Architecture, Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS) via MediatR, JWT authentication, and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines — achieved 85%+ business logic coverage using xUnit and Moq, and was containerised with Docker for consistent deployment. A second project, a versioned [ASP.NET](http://ASP.NET) Core Web API, was deployed live to Azure App Service with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Swagger/OpenAPI documentation, and structured logging. Across all projects I apply SOLID principles, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and the Repository Pattern to produce code that is readable, testable, and easy to extend.

I hold a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Mansoura University, graduated with Excellent Standing, and have additional experience mentoring peers in programming fundamentals — which has strengthened my ability to communicate technical concepts clearly within a team. I enjoy working collaboratively and learning quickly within Agile/Scrum environments, and I bring a practical, hands-on fluency with AI-assisted engineering tools that reflects how modern development teams increasingly work. I am available for full-time employment and open to both on-site and hybrid arrangements.

I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my skills and project experience align with your team's needs. My portfolio is available at [github.com/MahmoudAbdelrahman2002](http://github.com/MahmoudAbdelrahman2002), and I am happy to walk through any of the projects in detail during an interview. Thank you for your time and consideration — I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Mahmoud Abdelrahman Ibrahim
