Nonfiction (documentary-style or gay-themed autobiographies) recommendations please
The last nonfiction book I enjoyed tremendously was Neptune's Fortune by Julian Sancton about the search for the most valuable shipwreck known to this day.
I'd love to read something else along those lines that's well researched, more focused on adventure, search etc., backstory rather than a massive tragedy.
Or something biographical and gay that has laughs and depth, like "The Bucolic Plague" by Josh Kilmer-Purcell, or reads similar to the autobiographical books by Stephen Fry and Augusten Burroughs. So, it can be touching on serious themes but should be balanced out by a certain amount of humour.
Bring it on :)
