Expiration date on label or bottle?

Hello. We give our cat B-12 injections for his IBD, which were prescribed by our vet. The prescription label from our vet says the bottle expires one year from when we got it. We realized that’s the default for all of the prescriptions we get from them, though. The manufacturers printed label on the bottle is different (later). Which do we use? Thank you!
