Oil service

Hi guys !
I own VRS from 2022.
I changed oil and Normally is recommended Castrol Edge 0w20 LL IV and my mechanic buy and change for 0w20 C5. Is that oil can do some damage or I can drive on it 9k miles for next change and then back to LL IV ?
