I made the mistake of admitting to drinking, I’m an honest person and it honestly never helps me.

Got pulled over at 4am ish for my license plate light being out. They asked if I had been drinking and I said yes because I honestly thought it was at least mostly out of my system. Two other cops showed up and one did the field sobriety tests on me. Stare at the pen, balance on one foot, finger to nose and estimate 30 seconds with my eyes closed. I told him I have plantar fasciitis (pain in my feet) but I forgot to say I take minoxidil which does cause dizziness. I don’t know if that’s good or badbad, I feel like I did great on those tests but then they had me blow and it was 0.096 and 0.082 then at the station I was under something like 0.076.

I stayed in jail until 11am paid $190 to the cops to release my truck , $630 to the tow yard and I got a lawyer.

Could this possibly get dismissed since I was under?

Is a wet reckless really that much better? I got laid off a few days after unrelated and now I’m struggling financially. I still owe $1,500 to the lawyer. I gave them and the tow yard everything I had. I’m in construction so really it probably won’t affect my job at all but with my pain and some other things in my life I really don’t want to do construction anymore. I feel like this DUI / wet reckless is going to hold me back from leaving construction.
