Miscarriage
wanted to share my pregnancy journey and what I’ve been going through.
I’m 36 years old, and my husband and I tried to conceive. After five months, I finally got pregnant, and I was so happy and hopeful. But at around 10 weeks, I found out that my baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks, and there was no heartbeat. It was absolutely devastating for me.
I had so many mixed emotions. I kept asking myself, “Am I not good enough? Is there something wrong with my body? Is my body not supporting my pregnancy?” I had so many thoughts going through my head, and honestly, it has been incredibly difficult to process.
Then, around 11 weeks, I started noticing dark brown discharge that looked like old blood. At that point, I was almost 99% sure that I was having a miscarriage and that the pregnancy wasn’t going to continue.
Now I just feel completely numb. I don’t even know what I’m supposed to feel anymore.
I’m also scared about the future. I’ll be turning 37 next year, and I keep wondering: Will I be able to conceive again? It took me five months to conceive at 36, so I’m worried that it might be even harder when I’m 37.
I know I’m probably overthinking everything right now, but I have so many questions and fears going through my mind.
If anyone has been through something similar, especially conceiving again after a miscarriage in their late 30s, I would really appreciate hearing your experiences, advice, or anything that might give me some hope.
I’m just not feeling okay at the moment, and I think I need some support and reassurance from people who understand. ❤️
