**The app is called PixaMixa 💜**

I wanted my desktop to feel a little less like a workspace and a little more like a tiny place I actually enjoy being in.

**PixaMixa is a cozy desktop companion for Windows that lets you bring your favorite GIFs and images onto your desktop and turn them into little animated companions.**

They can wander around your screen, walk along the edges, jump, tumble, rotate, or simply hang out beside your windows while you’re doing other things.

You can keep it very calm — maybe just one sleepy little creature sitting in the corner — or build an entire cozy desktop scene with several characters and decorations.

What I really like about it is that **you’re not limited to characters I chose for you**. You can add your own GIFs and images, so your desktop can feel personal: cats, frogs, tiny ghosts, pixel creatures, flowers, little animated objects… whatever feels cozy to you.

There are also optional little desktop tools such as **notes, to-do lists, alarms and counters**, but they’re there to blend into the setup rather than turn it into a productivity dashboard.

The GIF above is one example of the kind of cozy desktop atmosphere you can make with it. 🌙

**PixaMixa is available on Steam:**

I’d love to hear what people here would actually put on their desktop:

**If you could have one tiny cozy creature or object living on your screen all day, what would you choose?** 🐸🐈🌱✨

I turned my desktop into a tiny cozy world 🌙✨
