Sporadic interview requests

I guess this is somewhat of a rant but I’ve been unemployed since July 17. That first week of unemployment, I got 6 interview requests. In my mind I thought that my unemployment wouldn’t last that long and I’m very lucky. Since those 6 interviews of which I didn’t get the job for any of them, I’ve had 2 requests in 5 weeks. It’s just so frustrating how inconsistent it’s been. I’m applying to the same caliber of jobs within the same skillset and for some reason, everything stopped working out of the blue. Fingers crossed that things turn around quickly!
