Homeaglow Review: Beware the $59/month membership + $112 cancellation fee

Posting this because I wish I had seen something like this before accepting their promotional offer.
After purchasing an airline ticket, I received an offer saying I had unlocked a free promotional cleaning. I accepted it, paid the promotional amount, and later discovered I had been enrolled in Homeaglow’s ForeverClean membership for $59/month with a 6-month commitment.

I contacted Homeaglow immediately and explained that I did not knowingly intend to enroll in a recurring membership. They refused my refund request and told me canceling before six months could result in a $112.08 early termination fee.

They later sent me screenshots supposedly showing how the membership is disclosed during their standard checkout process. That is not how the third-party promotional offer was presented to me. Had I clearly understood I was agreeing to $59/month for six months or paying $112 to get out of it, I never would have accepted the cleaning.
