OpenPayd has reportedly added **43 state money transmitter licences (MTLs) in the U.S.**, just ahead of its planned Nasdaq listing.

The interesting part is where the licences came from.

They sit with **MSB USA Inc.**, a state-licensed money services business founded by **Dr. Ozan Ozerk**, who also founded OpenPayd. The business is now part of the OpenPayd group, with its existing leadership team remaining in place while the integration is prepared.

Why does this matter?

Having 43 state licences gives OpenPayd a regulatory route into a large portion of the U.S. market — potentially making it easier to serve clients that already use its platform across the UK and Europe.

This also comes shortly after OpenPayd received its **MiCA authorisation in Malta**.

And the business itself appears to be scaling quickly:

* $96M+ ARR as of July 31, 2026
* $300B+ annualized transaction volume
* 1,200+ clients globally
* Clients include Kraken, eToro, OKX and B2C2
* Reportedly profitable without external capital

Then there's the Nasdaq angle.

OpenPayd is planning to go public through **Titan Acquisition Corp. (Nasdaq: TACH)** under the ticker **“OP”**, at a pro-forma equity value of up to **$1.145B**.

The transaction is currently expected to close in Q4 2026, subject to Titan shareholder approval.

So the bigger question for me is:

**Can OpenPayd turn its regulatory footprint across the U.S., UK and Europe into a major advantage in the increasingly competitive payments + digital assets infrastructure market?**

43 U.S. licences right before a public listing definitely makes the story more interesting.

What do you think — **smart expansion strategy or too much hype around the Nasdaq listing?**

OpenPayd just picked up 43 U.S. state licences. Is this a bigger deal than it looks?
