Need suggestions regarding bsc cs

I am planning to pursue bsc cs from a central uni instead of btech cse from a tier 3 clg. Also, i don't expect any placements after bsc only and planning to pursue msc or mtech later on. Can anyone please give me some suggestions on the course and entrance exams and all?
