Our friends want me and my fiancee to move cross country with them.
Though this is a throwaway account I'm still going to be vague as I do not wish anyone to stumble across this. My fiancee (20F) and I (20M) have lived in our state for all our lives, for the most part. Same county, city, and whatnot. Well to keep a longer story less long, our friends, who we would consider close, are not originally from our state and lived a good distance away. They have talked about missing their home state and about moving back one day, and as the title says, they asked us if we would move with them. At the moment I said yes and so did my fiancee, as we don't talk to much family anymore and don't have much in the means of a social life here. My fiancee is all in for it still, but I'm on the fence as I have a decent job here that I wouldn't be able to transfer from to another location, not only this but it's different and I guess I don't like change as much as I'd like to think. There's a lot to this decision that I haven't even thought of yet, and I just don't know what to do. I'd move but I'm terrified of making a bad decision. I'd hate to lose touch with the little family I do like, yet I'd hate to lose touch with our friends as well. My fiancee says shed be torn if I said no, she wants to stick with our friends and like I said is for moving but if I don't wanna go she doesn't know what she'd do. This is just a lot. It's not a right now decision as we have a lease and some bills that need to be paid before anything happens, so I have time to think and decide and save lots which is another hard thing that's gonna have to be done. TLDR; Our friends want us to move cross country with them and start a new life, but I don't want to make a bad decision by doing so. I don't know what to do. Thank you.
