Tapo/Vigi recommendations
I have 360sqm lot, house around 75sqm bungalow style with a big patio and a 2 car garage with 30m of street. We are the only ones currently on our street, we don't have neighbors on this part of the subdivision. So having eyes everywhere gives us peace of mind, especially at night. I want to cover every corner with cctv and then for the 30m of street camera pointing inwards, so when a car/person crosses into the field of view, a pan cam, center of the street distance can pan over and also record for further capture licenses plates or faces. Planning on adding speed bumps to slow cars and allow cams to start recording. I've experimented with wyze and eufy non pir type cams and their subs to utilize Ai and reduce false events. I was wrong and before I spent a bunch on a better setup, I want to ask this time before experimenting on my own haha. I already have tapo ecosystem devices like plugs, temp sensors, hub h110(to control my non smart aircon and connect devices). I'm interested in their cctv line up and how their automations blows uefy and wyze automations out of the water. I was able to put together a setup that allows my wireless vacuum to start charging when placed back into the vac mount and cut power once wattage drops down to its trickle wattage to prolong battery cell life and fire prevention by just using tapo plug and window/door sensor. I was also thinking of vigi setup but running Poe to the ends of the street seems ehhh, not sure how well vigi wifi cams are(if they have a solar variant also) and the consumer level tapo cctv. Tell me about your experiences with tapo/vigi, which cctv cams and or setups you have or would have got vs what you current bought.
