[launcher] has Signed my Microsoft account

Hello, i went to play minecraft on my laptop today, and i was signed out of the launcher.

when I boot up the launcher, I get a pop-up that says

"We couldn't sign you into XBOX Live"

"sorry, something went wrong. try again in a while. (0x80004005)"

then I click "ok", and it loads the launcher, which then prompts me to log into my account, when i click "sign in with microsoft", the same screen as mentioned earlier pops up. :/ anyone else going through the same problem? or have any fixes?
