After years of putting it off and hoping it would fix itself, I had an episode which needed me visiting my local a&e

I have been prescribed telmisartan 40 mg any useful advice or tips for a newbie taking this stuff?

Bp was averaging 145/92 but recently spiked at 180/ 118 😬
