how to cancel force palm on keyboard

Hey everyone, I’ve been playing on a controller since the start, and there are several ways to cancel a charged Force Palm attack, but what about keyboard? Neither dodging nor the other buttons that work on the controller seem to work there... Can anyone who has played on keyboard for a long time confirm if this is a bug? Because dodging isn't working anymore! And if it’s not a bug, how do you actually do it?
