Am I receiving the proper amount of care?

Need Advice

I’m currently 19 weeks 6 days pregnant today. On August 31st I had my anatomy scan and thankfully baby is in the 35th percentile. Unfortunately, they had concerns about my cervix so they sent me to see my NP since their MFM doctor couldn’t see me. Then when I got to the office for my NP she said she was sending me to labor and delivery for them to go over my options. These aren’t words you really want to hear. I go to labor and delivery and they do a cervical check and thankfully my cervix was still closed and long enough. The MFM doctor at my ultrasound thought my cervix looked open and they were concerned that I had a dynamic cervix. I now know that in less than a week my cervix went from 5 centimeters to 3.06 centimeters. This pregnancy is my second which is considered high risk. My first pregnancy I had preeclampsia, PROM, Oligohydraminos, VCI, a few other things I can’t even remember and my son had IUGR. I went into labor at 33 weeks. Because of all of that I’m anxious especially seeing that my cervix shortened so quickly. This NP told me it was fine to wait another 2 weeks to check my cervix which feels crazy to me. On top of the fact that my MFM doctor won’t see me again until 33 weeks. I’m hoping I’m still even pregnant at that point. My last pregnancy that was high risk I had both an OB and an MFM doctor watching me closely but this time I feel like I’m just getting lost between everyone else. I also voiced my anxiety to my NP about waiting a full two weeks and she said it’s the standard of care. I work in malpractice insurance I know standard of care fails people every single day. I have an appointment with the NP on Friday to go over my concerns
