What was name of that movie of Salman Khan and Sanjay dutt?

I think that was the first indian movie I ever watched.

I remember some scene where Sanjay dutt protects Salman Khan and brings him home and Heroine thanks Sanjay

Then Sanjay says he's sorry that Salman Khan got hurt and Sanjay may love that heroine too but couldn't marry her

Does this description clicked? Anyone know the movie name?
