Has anyone been denied to get fitted for a pessary?

Multi-Compartment POP

I (F28) was just diagnosed a month ago with a stage 3 cystocele and a stage 2 vaginal vault prolapse. ( mind you when I got my diagnosis I was completely shocked and devastated but my ob said it’s normal and there’s nothing to worry about then pretty much sent me on my way with no guidance at all. I was told to lose weight and count calories and get in as much fiber as possible but I’ve lost 85lbs in the last year and half so I’m in relatively good shape now.) As the month went by, my symptoms have gotten worse, almost bed bound due to the falling out feeling, the excessive bulge, the excruciating pain and how uncomfortable it makes it feel. I went to go see my obgyn yesterday and told her that I’m practically laying in bed all day and I asked to be fitted for a pessary. I’m a stay at home mom with two crazy energetic kids, I’m not able to sit or lay down when I need to because they need me. I’m kind of at a loss right now, I feel like the pessary would help. But she said that she doesn’t think I need it and would be just fine with going to PFPT (which I’m on a waiting list for and have to wait 2 more months for) but she did end up writing a prescription for gabapentin instead of the pessary. I’ve asked both my primary care doctor and OB for a referral for a urogynecologist and they both denied me. How am I supposed to live like this? I would really appreciate some advice or guidance, I’m struggling so bad. I feel so dismissed and useless right now.
