Thanks for reading:

Not really sure where I am going with this one because there is a lot going on and feels like a mixed bag. First a little about me. I love jewelry especially rose gold and have a few Hermes pieces. I don't love all the pieces they have but at any given point I'd say there is at least one thing I love.

I have been wanting the gm rg clou de forge for about 2.5 years now and whenever I go to any store any city and country I have tried to get it. I had notes out via my sa to hq or at least New York City office for it (in the smallest size) because I wanted it for a pinky ring. I could never find the smallest size so those seem theoretical and not actual but anyway as in never actually produced/available. I have oscillated between seeing digitally and physically larger sizes and just tried on the smallest size I had seen ever and it mostly fit. I have to wear a sizer and am fine with getting a jeweler to add a permanent speed bump. But also I'm still 15 pounds from pre baby weight and it's summer not winter so might I regret this? Perhaps but I was never finding a 46. Sometimes I can't find this ring at all in my market I'll either find the small one. The ones with diamonds or not at all even though they've expanded the collection to bracelets and necklaces. So I also got nervous and kept checking international websites. Sas would tell me while they don't see inventory they don't see a production stop either. Anyway I'm happy. I love it. (So I decided to just get it. Bought in NYC)

The other thing about me is a I love an architectural heel so most Hermes footwear I don't like but I love the mirage pumps. I have the ones pictured whatever they are called and had I known they would not come back I would have gotten another pair. I adore them so much. And while visiting the day I got my ring. The little black thing came off one of the shoes. The shoes come with extra) but they needed to ask Paris what could be done which seems like overkill because I didn't mention that I had extra.) I also love the Kylie mule (only see in Canada and somehow I missed the us drop) and I just bought the Marlys same day as ring.

Ok questions:

Mirage pumps fit mostly like my other Italian last pointy pumps. Not comfortable (I'd say so much stiffer than Manolos) but fine for work--I think. Do I buy? I hate missing out on cute shoes with these amazing heels and the heel is definitely swoon worthy but I do have buyers remorse from the nappa Vegas boots because they're just so uncomfortable. Not even dinner shoes because boots.

Do I take my farandole heels to a local cobbler to fix the little black thing on one of the heels or try the Paris route.

I'm going to Paris in February do I keep shopping here or wait for next year. I have a few things on my list. Silks, earrings and a ring that I have only seen recently in Australia and Poland I think.

Didn't love the sa that helped me and concerned that he was new to brand and didn't seem to know much about the products or was able to geek out with me on current / past products. Not my first time shopping in Madison but now I'm probably close to 9k there split between two people and of course I want a bag. This isn't my first rodeo and I feel so silly asking this but it took me what I consider a long time to get my first and only qb/bag in another state/store and I don't want to make the same mistake again.

Other markets: why do Canada and Australia always have such good inventory. Whenever I see a piece that I can no longer find. I go to those and sure enough I find it. I do that when I need to pull old reference numbers especially for jewelry and shoes. Sometimes a few of the Asian sites help too but for me Canada.
