Anyone visiting Hawaii in September? A few events I found

I missed this one, but make sure you don’t!

If you are heading to Hawaii in September, I found a few events happening around the islands that might be fun to check out:

Oahu: Okinawan Festival (sept 5–6) and the Mid-Autumn Festival & Parade (sept 19), Honolulu

Maui: Mele for Maui on sept 19, Lahaina (Kaanapali)

Big Island: Ulu Festival (sept 19), Captain Cook

Kauai: Kauai Marathon & Half Marathon - sept 6 (sold out) and the Kauai Mokihana Festival (sept 20–26)

some of these look like a pretty nice change of pace from the usual beach days and sightseeing. if you’re going around these dates, might be worth checking out what's happening near you.
