Hey there! I'm looking for a long term RP partner. I made up a plot from the trope I'm currently obsessed with, it's a bit dark and very angsty. So please read the whole post before messaging me! I prefer to rp on discord.

I'm also open to other ideas if you have something similar to try.

A little about myself, I'm 21 yrs old and have been rping for about 5 yrs now. Please be 18+ to rp with me. I can easily write 500+ words and around 1000 words, but I can also write less to match my partner as long as the replies have enough substance.

A few rules/preferences:

• Please don't rush me to reply. I value quality over quantity and usually reply at least once a day. If I'm going to be unavailable, I'll let you know beforehand, and I expect the same from my partner.

• Please don't leave the rp without any reason. If you're bored with the plot or want to change something, I'd rather we discuss it. I'm open to ideas and changes so we can both enjoy the RP.

• Please contribute to the plot! I don't want every reply to just be your character reacting to mine. Plot twists, new characters and your own ideas are always welcome.

• I'd like someone who is willing to chat OOC too. I love discussing plot ideas, character development and world building with my partners.

• I only do OC x OC and won't do fandom RPs. I don't need detailed character sheets, just some basic information about your character. I prefer developing characters as the RP progresses.

The plot-

In a world where soulmates share physical pain and harming your match is an unforgivable taboo, Person A lives a calculated double life. Publicly an acclaimed thriller writer and editor, he secretly targets corrupt elites who escaped the law. He breaks into their homes, knocks them out, leaves them bound in heavy restraints, and surrounds them with mountains of well-researched evidence that the police cannot deny. Through his side missions, he takes inspiration for his writing.

When a copycat begins intercepting his targets using his exact methods, Person A is unsettled, fearing his secret is in danger. He decides to lay low for a while, hoping the imposter will not find any leads to him. A few months later, things quiet down, so Person A strikes again. His target is a newly acquitted executive. Slipping into the penthouse, he discovers the target already subdued and Person B waiting for him in the dark. Person B is an obsessive fan who reverse-engineered Person A's real-life operations directly from the forensic details in his writings, staging copycat vigilante acts for the sole purpose of meeting his idol.

Terrified that his secret is compromised, Person A attacks to subdue the intruder and escape, causing a fight to break out. They both land simultaneous blows, feeling the pain of their own hits, which instantly reveals their soulmate bond. While Person A is horrified to realize his freedom and secret are tethered to an unpredictable stranger, Person B is utterly thrilled by this discovery and cannot wait to see how this plays out.

I want this one to be full of tension, with Person A absolutely hating Person B at the beginning. While the later is obsessed with this development and wouldn't leave Person A alone. Person B would be a more quick-witted and playful type of character. Then as they start working together, their relationship slowly develop. This is the basic outline and I'd love to discuss other details in dms! Other ideas are also very welcome.
