PHYSICS IN RADIOGRAPHY? do i really need to know it all?

Career or General advice

i'm a 3rd year student and i decided to go over the physics aspect of radiography again as I don't feel confident on it.. but i just kept thinking how much do i need to know? i feel like understanding stuff like inverse square law, magnification , divergence in the beam, scatter is important when you graduate as you would need to explain to any student that may shadow you in the future... but like understanding how an x-ray tube works with the cathode, electrons stuff... is it really necessary to learn it all how many of the physics do you guys actually remember!! please be honest 🥲
