The quickest way I've found to tell whether a creator brief is testable

Seeking Advice

When a brief lands, I try to write one sentence describing what the batch is meant to learn.

If that sentence contains three different unknowns, the brief is doing too much. Changing the creator, hook, offer and format at once may produce a winner, but it will not tell you what to repeat.

I would rather hold the customer problem and proof steady, then let several creators interpret the opening in their own voice. The next brief can actually use the result.

How do you decide what stays fixed in a creative test?
