Oil Change on very old oil.

hello everyone! on my old car, citroen cx gti turbo 2, the oil has not been changed for a number of years. 5+ years I believe, could be more though.

my question:

start up the car, get it up to temp, let is sit for 10-15 min, drain it all out.

or

cold change the oil because of the age and not wanting to do any harm.
