I need help in choosing a new gpu for my PC

I built my pc in 2018,

It has a:

- Ryzen 5 2600x

- 1060 6GB

- 16GB Ram DDR4 2400MHz

- TX550m 550w 80+ Gold

- B450m Motherboard

I'm planning on eventually build a new pc but it's too expensive for me right now to make that "jump" so I decided to upgrade my GPU.

What gpu can I buy to play comfortably on low/medium settings (1080p) on most games? Can I do that without upgrading other parts? I was thinking either a 3060 8gb (12 maybe?) or the RX 6650 XT.

Will I need to upgrade and play on a 1440p monitor to see less bottleneck if I'm not upgrading my CPU as well? Cause I want to spend as little as possible right now and save money to eventually build a new one.
