Separation anxiety

I took my 15 month old to the pediatrician today and I was saying how my daughter won’t let anyone hold her except me, and she was saying how that’s actually a really positive sign because it shows a strong bond with their primary caregiver. She mentioned it’s actually a red flag for babies to just go to anyone because it shows they have no bond with their caregivers.
Made me think of how s was as a baby, and d and b would BRAG about how she was “so friendly” and would literally let anyone hold her. This is not s’s fault of course but just shows again how IGNORANT of parents b and d are. For people who wanted kids so bad, they clearly know nothing about development, milestones, enrichment etc. they think dragging these poor babies all over the world, no stability, probably never even seeing a doctor for a wellness visit, makes them great parents. It’s sad
